Unlike our other machines our universal conche is based on a chassis produced for us in China. We had repaired and rebuilt a Chinese machine for a client of ours, in doing so we developed an intimate knowledge of these chassis, of what parts were sound and of which were faulty in design and would fail or cause problems. In the end we determined the basic chassis to be a good value and we decided to add rebuilt versions to our product line.
Upon receipt of the chassis in our factory, we completely dismantle and perform a quality control inspection. After ensuring the parts meet our specifications, we re-assemble in our Brooklyn factory. During this process we change out many critical parts such as bearings, transmission parts, motor controls, etc for U.S. components and add digital temperature control electronics. The end result is a machine proven to operate constantly in a production chocolate factory, which is of equal quality to European manufacturers at a reasonable price.
